I think its a 3d model background you can buy on 3d model sites. Its easier for the artist to buy those than actually waste time on drawing backgrounds. I often see manhwa penthouses and apartment there.

Wow, I just noticed but Okdong-nim and their artist team really worked hard on the landscape and background. After the family meeting, I was shocked to see the apartment complex and park, they're so well-done. I rarely see modern manhwa backgrounds looking so nice and elaborate.
