TBH I'm with you with your opinions here. FBI, CBI, RAW, SWAT whatever secret security investigation organisation if you are working for them! You always have to think that whenever you are captured by enemy your country will abandon you ! That's harsh but that's the truth of the nature of Job. You have to be hard hearted. The child they were raising was himself very eager to learn about the agents life and work that's why he was practicing the shooting, and even if you've raised your own blood child and they decide to join th secret services and then hypothetically ends up in enemy hands in that case too!! If the negotiation with the enemy doesn't go well they'd definitely lay a person out rather than selling the country secrets...I mean you should think from every perspective not just one , would you sell your own country? Just to save one people? No!! That's why secret services people are called hero's because they are indeed take there life on hands and die in crucial operations because of there sense of duty towards there country same with Benjamin here!! He was even laughing when Basti's deal with FBI didn't went well because he knew when the time comes he have to die rather being a liability to the country
It's just really cruel they had to raise him as a soldier and not a child and just only to throw him away like. I get that the mc knew that they won't sacrifice everything for him but like the reason he felt betrayed is because they never trusted him. There was another spy planted but it wasn't him. He was made belived he was doing something but turns out he was a decoy. Secret service don't do that. They don't trick their workers, they hire them and tell them they're gonna be a decoy. This shows the organization was corrupt
Bruh i am sic of stories where people turn against their organisations or loathe them when they get abandoned. Like dude the moment you start working for the team, you should know its obvious the team will prioritise their work over you. If saving you means letting go of a criminal people gave their lives up to be captured, obviously you would be abandoned. Its hurtful but its basic sense, i swear if benjamin decides to switch sides and kill his colleague
