i love how the artist draws an zhe’s expressions to characterise his detachment and apathy towards what’s happening around him.it’s like he’s not concerned with nor involved in all the terror and chaos caused by the failure of the city to keep the mutated fauna away. he is not human. he only cares about getting back his spore and returning to the abyss. whatever happens to the northern base has nothing to do with him. but it’s also great to see this sentiment interspersed with moments of him showing sympathy and care to those who he establishes some relations with. mr.shaw, poet, of course, lu feng. maybe that’s one of the traits he innately inherited from an ze. that’s if empathy is genetically encoded(?). anyway i love the artist’s style…ヾ(☆▽☆)
