I'm now in my twenties and have been reading BL since I was about 15 - the older I get the more I've come to enjoy and understand more twisted characters. If you can pull them off in both a believable and maybe even sympathetic way, then the plot usually becomes that much more interesting!
Also I have litterally read hundreds of mangas and doujins (not claiming to be an expert tho) but so far Asada Nemui seems to actually have some quite interesting and original plotlines (=・ω・=)
Weirdly enough, I feel the same way. Maybe its because at first I was new to the genre, but as I continue reading as i get older, the nore intrigued i am by twisted manga.
Still cant handle super explicit ones like Harade though.
That's exactly what I think too, I truly appreciate the fact that this mangaka is able to portrait a conventionally detastable character in a way that the reader doesn't really see him in that light, offering a neutral point of view (at least, that's my perception) Glad to see similar poinst of view, or at least comments that are not plain and useless negative.
I may be a weird one but i got hooked on yaoi at about 14 / 15 (i turn 25 in 4 days) and im not saying that i would've loved harada as much then as i do now, but i've always been interested in explicit yaoi (the hardcore ones) and my taste hasn't really changed since i started reading.
Dont get me wrong, I do love the fluffy, cute ones as well but a really twisted storyline with beautiful art (like yoneda kou's Saezuru tori wa habatakanai) just plain and simple does it for me. It's my cup of tea

You could be 20 and still think this is trash just because you don't like twisted characters.i mean I was like twelve when I started and still lived anything that was yaoi wheayher it was lovey dovey or the characters where crazy as fuck.... All these people saying this manga is terrible as well as the mangaka...If you hate the character to the point you find the manga and artist despicable, you're basically too young for this, and should stick to basic BL. This artist knew how to make a detestable characters interesting to the point you're not set off, as well as an actual plot that makes sense.
