If you really think about it they met wheb Asha was like what 5 or 6 so the emperor is basically a kid too. Like 11 or 12. You only say 'grooming' if the other party was an adult. And this one is the kind of innocent love that became an obsession on the emperor's side. So more like a psycho than a groomer to be honest.
