it gets really interesting as the story progresses, trust me the lore is deep and I swear it's much better in the novel, the manhwa just doesn't do it justice

Yeah, I kinda get that if you clicked this novel for the yaoi part. I would recommend reading the novel since it's a lot more fast paced than the manhwa. Regardless, this series is very plot driven,,, (the banging scenes are worth it tho,,,)
