For those wanting spoilers, considering the fact that the light novel volume 3 ends with “The Hunt” arc where Maomao gropes Jinshi’s frog, which was only about 10ish chapters ago; I’d recommend reading light novel volume 4 because that is the point the manga is currently in. Though, someone correct me if I am wrong because it has been a while since I read vol. 4. All I know is that this is the point where shit takes off, and the manga does upload super slow and it doesn’t help that it’s one chapter per month. So everyone is just better of reading the novels. Another side note, no one can just spoil anything without spilling a shit ton of other information in the process because there is just so much. You actually need to read it in order to understand and grasp the context fully of what is happening.
