I have a lot to say...

I wanna preface this by saying I do like this story, I'm enjoying it I just have a few gripes that are tainting my experience. Okay so I left this yaoi to simmer for a bit and coming back, I can say that I'm honestly a bit disappointed. I think the plot and the art is great but I think the away the author has handled it and the characters is frustrating. For example (srry gonna use Uke/seme here cause I'm bad with names) the uke obviously has some horrible trauma that informs his actions/choices/decisions but we barely learn any of that from him and we never get to hear his internal monologuing/thoughts regarding his trauma in particular, it's always speculation/ exposition from other characters and based on comments from earlier chapters you can easily tell that people can't understand his actions or choices because the author has given us no direct reasons beyond surface level to think that his trauma would impact him to think so illogically. Another issue is the seme. Honestly I don't blame the uke for thinking the seme didn't genuinely like him, the way he treats him is so strange. It's like instead of carefully walking him through things he's coming on incredibly strong after acknowledging that his behaviour towards the Uke was shitty?? And then the first thing he does when he gets the answer he wants is have sex with the Uke, not only that but he uses sex as a way to get him to agree to dating him? Obviously I haven't seen how this story will progress but realistically I can't see him being comfortable in a relationship where they didn't even work through their issues to get to that point. Sorry if this just sounds like waffle, I really do like this story and o hope everything works out, it's just frustrating at points.

Yeah seme was shitty at the beginning but after a bit he acknowledges that and changes and the reason he treated him like he doesnt know he has trauma is cus he didnt until the uke actually spoke up
Communication issues are like the #1 conflict starter in yaoi, but I gotta give this manwha credit for being a bit more self-aware about it by actually having the seme act logical when he finds out

I hear u and feel similar frustrations
But I think author-nim has done this quite well so far showing through the seme about how u go about recognising and accepting deep trauma from someone close to u
This is a rare webtoon (that I know of) that the sole pov is with the seme and the seme being the mc
The vast majority out there is the pov of the uke with the trauma, so we instantly hear the voice their fears and anxiety and will get a few flashbacks for the semes "issues"
But this is pure 1 protagonist and 1 pov who is learning and growing
I see this as close to the real world as most webtoons as u never know what goes on in the life of ur school friend / workmate unless they voice it to u
Thats why whenever i see the uke do something (or not do it) and groan, i actually fall more in love with this story
    So yeah, thats my 2cents worth ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
