I think it's because Etienne is almost infertile because of the amount of medicine he took over the years
like the other person said he might be infertile but hes also a "beta" from the drugs so im thinking its like stopping his bodies cycles (like how being too stressed or taking drugs can stop a menstrual cycle)
Idk if it's the same in all the omegaverses, but in this story, does pregnancy only happen when there is knotting or imprinting? Because, with the rate and intensity of times they've slept together, accidental pregnancy is not that impossible to happen, right? And I think Rishar never pulled out of Etty all those times ... not even once.
