I honestly get if tj fans root for tj but what I don’t get i saying tj and ian is better simply because they have history lol ain’t the whole story is about tj being ian’s past and ian wanting to be free but feel guilty at the same time? all three mls are gonna have a good ending they deserve and good for the story anyway

i think most ppl reading understand perfectly why jo is better for ian and why tj is not a great guy. yet, despite all of that, there is still consistent tj fans. and ykw that’s perfectly fine and ppl shouldn’t get mad at it
the author purposefully made two ml w two differing personalities and relationships to the mc. one is going to be more appealing to some ppl and one is going to be more appealing to other ppl. that’s literally the whole point of this story. some ppl prefer the relationship w tj and ian better cause of their history and how much love is b/w them. and some some ppl prefer jo and ians instead cause of the gentle and non-toxic relationship they have. or they have their own reasons
wtv the case may be, it shouldn’t cause this much arguments i think a casual discussion is fine, but the way some of yall get so pressed when some rando on the internet prefers smth you dont agree with is so wild to me. and this goes for both sides btw
i feel like if we rlly want ian to move forward, he shouldn’t be in a relationship at all. he needs to learn to be at peace with himself. maybe find some hobbies he enjoys or going back to school or smth idk. i feel as though after damn near two decades of a shitty situationship and an insane amount of hookups, he’s gotta learn to thrive on his own. if he has to end up w someone, for his own mental health, jo is better for him. but my heart is w tj and i would love to see them figure it out between each other since they’ve had one another for so long
