It depends on how it’s handled imo. Dating doesn’t always automatically mean good thing or forgiven. It *often* does, but not always. Color Recipe is one of my fave stories, and An Easy Target (i think is the name?) is one of my least favorites (tho the story ends w them not together, it leaves the reader with the impression that they will get together, so ig it doesn’t count as not getting together)
