What chapter is it? The one where they got drunk
ch. 30 is where they drink and hakyoung gets druunk. in ch.31 u see yoonsung looking visibly bothered and he starts acting strangely with jiyoung.
First, after reading the last chapter, i went back to when they got drunk at the bar and how after he was avoiding jiyoung and you can really tell he knew he was a boy. also if you go read through those chapters, yoonsung aleeady has a suspicion that hakyoung and jiyoung is connected.
Now the memory loss theory. Obviously, yoonsung remembers hakyoung being in the car with him, and now we know that he thought jiyoung died. Hyejin mumbled to her brother that "somebody wanted to die because of jiyoung.) So my theory is, is that the family greatly underestimated how deeply yoonsung felt for jiyoung and told him she died. This (probably combined with the passing of his grandfather) could have drove him to try and kill himself, he fails but suffers memory loss. OR he could go into severe shock and suffers memory loss from that. ofc there is the theory that yoonsung never lost his memory in the first place (which would be the most boring route. its beautiful to think about how he fell in love with hakyoung twice).
Either way, his family outside of the Seo siblings is all to blame. The heartache that these two men have endured is because the family refuses to own up their mistakes and shadiness. Yes it wouldve been painful for yoonsung to remember, but now that hakyoung has re-entered into their lives, they will now have to reckon w the deserved anger yoonsung would have for them (and he does not look like the forgiving type). i cant wait for their reckoning.
