ur right. i read some stuff with relatively high ratings and they're mid asf; they check the boxes for the ingredients of popular works but the work itself is nothing noteworthy. im curious what works u think deserve their popularity.
I wish there was a way to sort by ratings rather than popularity. So many 9+ stories get shoved to later pages. Like, why is "The Art of Taming a Tiger" on page 15 and "A Proper Relationship" on page 14 (under Shounen ai)? Both of these stories are really good, but get filtered out by 7-8 star "popular" BL.

I don’t agree with “ they’re popular for a reason” bc you guys make mid and poorly written manga/manhwas popular especially when it comes to BL and straight romance you’ll make basic ass shit popular bc the ml isn’t a rapist and has pretty art. I generally hate all popular works I can name very few that I think deserve their popularity VERY FEW.
