Could be that, or maybe he just hates his brother that much? Although.. they said he was nice at one point (when he was 8) so what changed?
So I think it’s either 1. He’s in denial 2. He’s possessive (out of love or not) 3. Hates his brother so he’s using mc to hurt him
Most definitely that. Two things can be true at once, hence his inferior complex with brother and obsession of MC, development of um, internal homophobia with closeted sexuality probably.
Theory: Based on observations: Kwon Young (asshole friend) asking MC with a hurt expression: “Did you hang out with him (ML) while I was away?”

And the: “You’re only hanging out with him because he’s my brother right?!”— with a cutesy hurt expression.

Or those expressions are just to manipulate MC. Another possible theory—but two things can be true at once…
Those two panels alone, makes my hypothesis into a theory, based on well tested observations:
CLOSETED FAG WHO IS OBSESSED WITH MC SINCE FIRST SIGHT.
He also says internally with a snarky expression: “Oh he’s so easy to manipulate.”—he confirmed it.
(Ch 8) And also leaves MC who’s drunk behind during karaoke, to go partying with some friends. The lack of care is insane!
It could be that he’s a closeted dude and is obsessed (not love) and hasn’t realized, or he’s just a homophobic asshole.
