I understand how you feel and it's totally justified to express your anger and empathy, and keep doing this, though don't go telling such thing on people, it's horrible and you wouldnt want for it to actually happen. There's a thing called rape fantasy in fictions (hetero, yaoi, gay, lesb), so it's a lost battle. We know why readers like these plots, that's because the art is good, ml or rapist is hot... Replace the handsome dude by an ugly pervert, and everyone will scream scandale.
As long as they know reality from fictions, that's ok. Problems of these contents is, with time, it will numb people perception of violence and judgement. They'll tolerate stuffs like snuff, or worse. But this is on them. If they don't care about their psyché and mind, nobody can change that.
I don't really get why people are complaining. The warning are very obvious if you're not into it don't read it. What's all this with 'oh I hope the ml is a decent human being' it's not that type of story and it's so obviously apparent. Smh
