Oh i haven't thought about seeing it as a drama adaptation but now that you've mentioned it, it sounds great, the main character's personality and deadpan alone would be able to make people hooked on it, the bullying and sexual abuse case would work well with the whole supernatural side of it and not to mention the DRAMA.
i can imagine a lot of emotional scenes that would make viewers cry and oh my god i need it now.
This will only came true if it's handled by a good production. Most bls today don't have good actors, and are very low budget. But seeing that countries like Korea, which are very conservative, I don't think that will happen any time soon :( The most recent one they did who had good production was love in the big city -- series, but it received a lot of hate from the general public, they even protested for several days to stop it from streaming.
I agree and the story is written in a way where there is no need for cringey looking supernatural CGI (just make some cool cuts to waking up).
Generally dramas that address the high bullying rate in Korea are well received AND the manwha handles it so earnestly and maturely anyway. Like it knows when and what to joke about and I respect that.
Idk but it’s written so good and the characters are so grounded and not out of this world.
I say this rarely but I would totally enjoy a live action adaptation or something. Like I wanna see heechans store fleshed out as a set and a super handsome actor that manages to nail his bickering nature.
Like it’s hitting every note it’s one of the only Manwhas where I’m waiting upon every episode. So every drama episode could have a dramatic ending and recap.
