I hope that's the case. Malnutrition causes some serious damage to how much one can grow.
improved mental health is debatable
OH NO LOL by improved mental health i don’t mean it literally! i meant he no longer wants to die because he found a reason for being alive and even worked hard for it
im giving the benefit of the doubt because they look about the same age currently. i genuinely think that he was just severely malnourished and the abuse affected his size. but once he found motivation to live (poor raymond), his physique was able to change. eating better, improved mental health, and getting out of an abusive household will do that
