it's a skill he got when he leveled up i believe. I think that when theo became a merchant he got a communication skill too since they have to communicate to be a good merchant, or simply they're are just some animals that can talk and others that can't

Can someone who read the novel tell me if the language barrier thing was used later in the story.
Mc wasn't able to understand the rabbits at first and it wasn't explained why he could understand theo before getting the nature skill(maybe cuz he's a merchant?)
So what will happen when other humans interact with other animals? Do they get translated automatically? So why was mc not translated automatically? I'm overthinking it and I feel it was a bit of a wasted setting that never came up again.
