Why 3?
The Kloff and Aeroc from the first timeline were separated in to two different timelines.
Aeroc went to the second timeline that explains why only him has the memories of the first timeline. This is also the reason why the Kloff in the second timeline harbors no wrath nor anger towards Kloff.
While the Kloff of the second timeline went to the third one. In this timeline Kloff has the recollection of the first timeline. He assumed that Aeroc from the third timelime will do the same thing he did in the past so he punished him and made his life miserable even though he knows full well that Aeroc has feelings for him. He used it against him. He also use the fact that Aeroc was jealous of Rafiel so he created a scenario where Aeroc misunderstood so he went to the Duke’s house the one who has feelings for Rafiel to tell that Kloff and Rafiel are having an affair but it turns out that Rafiel was with the duke the whole time and Kloff was just feigning to hurt Aeroc’s feelings. Well in the end Kloff realized that the Aeroc in that timeline is not foolish enough to do something bad that would hurt other people. In the end he tried to make it up to the Aeroc in the third timeline.
