I can’t help it! I wanna know cause I’m so used to reading stories wifh more depth, idk how you’re satisfied with some questions being unanswered.
Obviously it’s not healthy but seeing they’ve been together for ten years, I still wanna know what’s up.
Plus I don’t like borderline cheating, and forced marriage but I’ve already overlooked forced marriage since MC didn’t decide to fight it.
It got axed without the plot being long enough to resolve any of the issues in the situation. I keep coming back to speculate. But I am of the opinion that he has not cheated on his spouse yet because, as you stated, he was forced into this marriage and someone just doesn't change overnight.
After that mind-blowing sex MC had, he would be reluctant to pick someone else. And with ML having a short leash, he would have to go out of his way to be creative. The opening chapter was about some business venture that got his family into financial trouble? Maybe it's a club he starts so he can occasionally indulge. Our MC doesn't seem to be big into work so that's the only way I could see him trying.
But we only got a flash forward to being married for ten years. The ML gives off the vibe he would get the MC pregnant ASAP to solidify their union. I actually like how another comment was saying they needed to see all ten babies and my brain has ran with this train of thought.
Going along this line, we get the MC feeling crappy and trapped at first but once he is medically stable, they can continue to have the sex he likes and mocktails. So as he is learning what things he can control about his situation, including the ML who is willing to be his dream guy when they're together, I can see him getting rather comfortable with being pregnant and spoiled. And based on our flash forward, he seems to be an involved parent, if only to avoid the ML's clinginess. It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that he would continue to be pregnant and have babies just because both allow him more control over the situation. Oh, and they're loaded so they can afford a nanny and provide for that many kids.
We may have gotten a story where the MC matures and a ML who starts to mellow out from his life-long lazer-focused obsession. They could have grown more comfortable with each other and the flash forward may show us those two people. But we won't know because it ended before it got to get the ball rolling. It's best value now is speculation.
After the mind blowing sex, MC was tired and satisfied but that one scene where he wanted to go back to his threesome or more lifestyle felt bittersweet or sad. I wish the ML didn’t arrange this marriage, and I wish the MC fought the marriage but he stayed—10 years at that!

I don’t get how people are more mad that MC is flirting with other guys or borderline cheating when he has expressed being forced into the marriage + not liking the lifestyle. I guess I can understand why some are mad, cheating isn’t a great look if public finds out and they’re both or at least ML is famous.
I’m more surprised that little to no one is mad about MC not loving ML. Honestly I can’t tell if MC loves ML or not, in chapter 6 he did show some signs of falling for ML but shows tsundere behavior! He planned on divorcing but stayed with ML for a decade, continuing to.
I guess for me, I’m more concerned that the love isn’t mutual. In some relationships, people are poly so sleeping with others beside main partner isn’t the biggest issue. Issue is that these two don’t prefer same lifestyle. Not saying that MC prefers romantic poly but he clearly seems to want casual. There’s difference between casual no string attached vs poly romance.
I wish ML had found someone else that loves him back. And I wish MC left the marriage, but he chose not to divorce. Of course it won’t be easy divorcing, but he could’ve taken advantage of ML’s softness >:). I feel like ML wouldn’t force him by side if MC cried and begged.
ML also expresses his concern about MC “having unusual attraction to other people”— don’t know if he means other alphas are attracted to MC and comes onto him, or if MC willingly goes up and flirts which I consider concerning. I hope it’s the first.
Also, ML is such a horn dog he broke MC’s behind.
I don’t feel too bad for ML now that I reread. He knows how MC can be, and still kept him by his side. Even had children, but we didn’t get to see…shame.
