I haven’t recently read it but I’m pretty sure I remember the plot. The big guy is the little guys old teacher. He’s law enforcement or military or something but they had a really good relationship back then. Bunny left school and ended up in prostitution to survive. He’s trying to get away from his pimp cause his pimp is a douchebag who should die. Bunny seduced pimp to put a bug in his office (can’t remember if it worked or not). Bunny can’t afford rent cause he either wasn’t paid or he was fired for his stunt. Since having sex with big blondie, he has been struggling to think of sex as just a job hence him getting high af all the time (more than previously). He was scared af when his landlord came and demanded the rent money for the month and wouldn’t give him a few days to get that money. He messaged big blondie to ask for the help/cash. Landlord said “give me money now or pay with your body” basically and so he got high to dissociate himself from the reality since he didn’t think big blondie would come.
Long story short, they both like each other but because one’s a “righteous” guy and the other is a druggie prostitute, it’s been quite hard for them. Blondie wants bunny out of the prostitution game but bunny can’t trust anyone. The blondie basically blames himself for it too since he was his old teacher and bunny asked him for help over and over but he was too snobbish to properly help him.
