Seems like Clark truly cared about Oliver. The ending is him simply sitting with the fishes making noise (that I interpreted as a reminder of Oliver for him since he’s the one who told him to raise them) and Oliver’s finger he must have looked for. Seemed at peace. And made sure Alex felt horrified during his final moments much like Oliver did. And the whole reason he decided to trick Alex was to get him away from Oliver. Want to point out too that in ch 15 he seemed to show straightforward jealousy of the fact that Oliver had feelings toward Alex. Was surprising tho, I got caught up too. Kinda thought Alex and Clark would end up together but nah he literally said he wouldn’t want to be with someone he can’t manage. Loved Clark’s character, pure psycho and always stuck to his beliefs lol. Would have loved to see more of him, especially with the sneak peek of his childhood we got in chapter 1. Overall I liked this!
