This is not a standalone, a sequel, or whatever you call it. This is basically Doyeon's story. I'm exaggerating but he is so irrelevant to the story of the main couple that I'm starting to think the author is so biased with his character that the whole thing just got sidetracked. What even was the point? Don't answer that. I know why he was introduced to the story.
Shameless confession from me though which a lot of the readers would roll their eyes at me for, I didn't read it. There came a point that the story backpedaled so hard that I stopped reading. I get conflict but there was just nothing about this whole thing that reminded me of why I liked the original. Reading this at the start felt like nothing but frustration. Seeing the comments, I'm glad I decided to drop it.
