Okay so I read it recently and here is what I have to say, as someone who like horror and paranormal stuff. It’s pretty freaking cool, the art is fantastic and carries a lot of significance during the story. The plot and premise is also unique and the characters, even background, get a story. However, it can be hard to read. By that I mean the plot follows a non traditional story format. So you as the reader should be careful of that. As you mention the angst associated with the manga can be a turn off. But if you are willing to look at the manga as a whole including angst it’s truly a wonderful read!
