right?! the lack of safety and boundaries always scares me. and it’s so misrepresented, almost always the bdsm is an excuse for sexual abuse
FR!! i had to put the story down and physically cringe at the terrible penetration… zero lube or prep??? and then mc describing it as the best sex ever ?? made me sick
i have a really small list of my top ones lmao! since they’re heavily focused on relationship building, i prefer that over strictly sex. also they aren’t perfectly accurate or have a bit of dubious consent
1. this has to be my number one, although unconventional. the dynamic between them is *chefs kiss* and it perfectly portrays the vulnerability of each role, while maintaining that sexual allure and desire. the plays feel raw and safe: https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/kabukichou_bad_trip/
2. a classic. imagine a love triangle but make it have bdsm and complicated history. i love this one simply for its dramatics, and the exploration of mc’s sexual preferences was unmatched. manipulation is involved in acts, and this is what blurs the lines between business plays, romance, and trust: https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/from_points_of_three/
3. a less serious take on bsdm. not meant to represent it accurately but i appreciate the characters willingness to try uncomfortable things and even embrace it, discovering boundaries and all. not all plays are healthy or safe, and it tips off this line in order to grow and mold the main romantic relationship: https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/simplified_pervert_romance/
Hey, I'm like not in the bdsm scene at all, so sorry if I'm being rude in any way, but I'm curious. There is this story I've been following for quite some time now. It's about a d/s relationship and I've wondered if it is a good presentation on bdsm and I would love to hear your thoughts on it! It's 'Ang Ang' : https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/ang_ang/
not OP, but i quite liked it. i think this is a relationship that could 100% happen, or at least the gist of it. i do think it's a lot more important to communicate tho, d/s is something where u have to communicate or it won't be enjoyable. tho for this story, the lack of communication was relatively "well done" in the sense that it contributed to the story. there's always gunna be unrealistic parts of every story, but i personally think this is quite good!
every time a bdsm story misrepresents a sub and dom dynamic a part of me dies. there was zero lead up into their play, where is the mf sauce! no foreplay, rules, tension, or build up to the sex itself? went right into one sided demands and punishments, only for it to lead up to rough unpleasant non-prepped sex?!
i dried up faster than a drop of water in the sahara desert…
