It's often the mcs who prefer to bottom that go through such trials and tribulations. Sometimes if feels like the trope is punishing them because they like to bottom.
I hope we get a trend where love interests who like to top are the one's who're suffering and being a pathetic mess.
Love interest to see the mc as more than just a convenient hole where he can stick his dick into.
In a way, I get that this is a class struggle thing. Many rich folks are just too privileged that they fail to see past their own wants and needs. Regardless, love interests like this dude leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
