I don't think it was the point anyway. There's not love or redemption arc, nor 'ml' in this kind of work. It's torture porn for the sake of it, with bottom getting Stockholm Syndromed if they 'end up together'.

The second I get the impression that uke is falling in love for seme, this will be dropped. I'm only staying to see seme in pain and regret eventually. This is one of those stories where no amount of redemption is enough to ever root for the seme. It's not even a situation where he beat up uke because they were on different sides of a fight and eventually went from enemies to lovers. That can be a good plot when done right. This guy is just a sadistic rapist. That's it.
