Usually I see that in BL arguments between 2 people fester and promote miscommunication lead to unnecessary conflict.
But in this when they were arguing, it actually allowed Bum to get his thoughts and feelings out to Yeonwoo, without shifting blame or pointing fingers at Yeonwoo. Because arguments aren't about winning— it's to get each others perspective out and find a common ground.
While they both did do things that the other doesn't approve of, no one is the cause of blame. Yeonwoo and Bum both take it upon themselves to find out/ 'solve' the matter, because they want to continue their relationship without any bumps, without inconveniencing the other. The issue was that they never communicated said bumps to each other, not straightforwardly anyway. But this 'argument' is probably a sign of progress in their relationship and character growth.
