Honestly, I get where is the uploader coming from, he translated ch 25, poured much effort on it, only for the official to be uploaded (and also as much possible he/she didn't want to upload that immediately because they want to take time for it to be in the market so that the author can have more profits).

Haha don’t get me wrong. I get the official uploader being miffed. What I think is hilarious though, is the official uploader posting an angry notice taking about “you have no right” when technically speaking, neither do they.

Also, I’m not judging the official uploader for the criminal part, like you said- I’m here illegally reading too. What I’m mocking is the attitude of the official uploader. They’re speaking as though the unofficial uploader should be ashamed for not recognizing honor amongst thieves.

Official uploader could have posted a notice that wasn’t rage based. They could have just said, Hey other uploader, please look at my previous notice. I haven’t dropped this series, and the delay in posting was intentional. I worked really hard on this, so, in the future, please message me first and don’t upload over me. Thanks.

But nope. Instead- an irate accusatory notice laden with moral accusations (that are absurd and hypocritical) in which they say all kids of ridiculous crap in an angry way… great thing to wake up to on Christmas morning.

I find the official uploader’s notice more offensive than the unofficial uploading.

So I hope that clears things up. My commentary was about the official uploader’s unnecessary amount of rage, and indignant attitude, towards the unofficial uploader.

It doesn’t hurt to try asking nicely the first time. If they’re gonna act like a victim whose rights were stolen, I’m gonna claim hypocrisy. That’s all.

It is additionally hypocritical of them to claim that someone sniped their upload when a.) they aren’t an official translation group and there hasn’t been an “official uploader” for this manga for a while b.) aren’t fluent in Japanese (as per their “notice”) and c.) stated that they didn’t seen and official chapters until AFTER Fox uploaded them (they said so the notice they posted on the 22nd) but then tried to make it seem like the comment thread where they were talking with another reader about posting he officials was clarity enough. It was thoughtful of Jasper to go out of their way to translate a chapter but that by no means give them claim over uploading this series especially when the other person was uploading the officials and not a fan translated version. At the end of the day it doesn’t effect any of us but it is quite ridiculous to watch them squabble over who gets the “right” to upload lmaoo

I only said "you have no right and authority" as an uploader.
Every uploader knows the rule that if you are an uploader you should never upload over somone else.
Plus, this was supposed to be uploaded on January not December because it was on December that it was released. And moreover if it's an OFFICIAL CHAPTER. It shud never be uploaded each chapter per day. Atleast a week or less 5 days must be given to upload an OFFICIAL CHAPTER.
THE reason why I uploaded the NOTICE is because the previous uploader is IGNORING my messages.
And please if you've never been uploaded over you'll never knw the feeling of it.
Imagine you were supposed to showcase your work that you wasted 3 4 days and then find out that someone else was made to showcase witout your notice and presented it.
Where is your WORK going to be? It's either trash/delete bin.

I can also upload the chapter 25 which I've translated there's not much difference in between the OFFICIALS.

THE LAST OPTION TO BRING THIS OUT WAS ONLY TO PUT UP A NOTICE so that others will know that it was uploaded over.
And lastly, some people thought it was my team who uploaded them and started thanking me which I how I came to know I was being uploaded over without any Notice.

There is no reason to be this angry. In the grand scheme of things, sniping is common and none of it matters. Translating is a lot of work, so I understand how upset you are, but take a step back and realize that this uploader doesn't give a flying fuck about your feelings and you're subjecting a bunch of online strangers to your crash out over illegally uploaded manga. It sucks but it's not healthy to obsess over something like this.

Yeah I agree, I would have been a lot more receptive of a formal notice like the one you wrote. I get the frustration, but using an upload to attack the other person and vent all their anger isn't a great look. If this is the attitude they had while dming the other person then I get why they were ghosted tbh

YOU CAN CHECK MY PROFILE. I've been an active uploader back then, I did get uploaded over many a times but messaging worked with them and that's why I never had to put up any notice.
But this uploader even after messaging them, they're ignoring me.
I even checked the person's profile, there literally no read list, comments or any TOPIC and that his uploads idk if it's official or not are all uploaded like a dozen chapters in just 1 day,
This is why I marked him/her out.
I've been waiting for his/her reply but still no news and so I put up a NOTICE.

I think the problem isn’t that you don’t speak Japanese fluently. It’s more likely that your Non-Japanese language skills are… lacking? Not sure of the right word, but- I would be offended by your message. I absolutely would feel like it was accusatory, angry, and hostile.

If that wasn’t your intention, don’t blame the other uploader for thinking otherwise. Because that’s how it comes across. Maybe that’s why they didn’t respond. I’d never respond to someone sending an angry rage mail to me.

The moral flagging in this thread is ridiculous. There’s nothing moral about being on this site and we all know that. But we’re here anyway, in spite of it not being moral. So for someone to use moral grounds to defend their “right” to upload, or to not be uploaded over, is both hypocritical and “no one cares”.

I find it funny, no- downright hysterical that someone using an illegal site would claim morals regarding their work. No one here cares about whether it’s moral or not. No one here is being moral anyway.

Depending on your language and how you say something it can give a very different impression of how people take your words. I think you would know this too as a translator.

Right now you come off as angry and butt hurt. Asking multiple times if they asked permission from you as if you own the series then ordering them to remove it, And "Did you not see the notice?" all comes off very condescending and hostile.

"Hey, I noticed you uploaded over us, as per our notice we were already planning on uploading these chapters. We delay a week to allow the author time to make profit b4 uploading. Alot of hard work goes into these uploads from our team so we'd really appreciate if you took down your upload"

These two are basically saying the same ideas but the first one shows a lot of hostility and the second one doesn't. People are more likely to listen to the second one that isn't really angry sounding and ordering them around.
