I half agree with you, but her father didnt abandon her. Yui likes her father and didnt resent him, meaning they communicate from time to time. Also Jiu saying why Yui's father must took so long likely because Jiu loves Yui too deep like his own child now
Yui's father is settled in now, he owns a restaurant and confident he can provide time and care for her
this is complicated. while her father abandoned her to live with her uncle, there was no sure fire way to expect he would ever meet the ideal he set up. there is also the fact that the kid is half beastman half human, so the question is would he know how to handle that? the best thing here is to have visits with him. let him test it out and such. he might not be a good parent after all this time or a great one. hell, them all living together could work too. From the way his life sounds from what we hear, i say it is unwise for him to raise her. he sounds like he travels a lot and is married to work. he most likely wouldn't give her the attention she needs. in this case he should be like the uncle while our mains be the parents. not saying either is bad, but that sounds like what would be best.
