I don’t blame her for not noticing the flowers and stuff. Like from what it sounds like, no one would have even considered checking them when the father was poisoned despite being from a household renown for their poisons or smth + having that shadow guild or whatever. It probably was that the flower was too unknown / a secret creation of the church. Also I could see them overlooking it because of being nobles and just being too used to seeing them
but Shouldn’t she have had at least one person following her? Though maybe we’ll see Rube come in handy or maybe a ghost will tell Arsian somehow (he can’t see as well as Camilla tho) or smth. Otherwise this would be uncharacteristically careless

I think it’s possible she put too much faith in Rania not being overly reckless since Rania would be the most suspicious person if something happened to MC (since they left alone) + MC probably thinks Rania is working solo and not under any pressure from some external group
