I can’t remember the exact chapter but it was never mentioned that the daughter was dead, only the mother. There was a chapter where the king had sent his men to kill his father, when the men came back to the palace and said it was done, he then ordered them to go after the daughter. She’s probably living with her maternal grandparents since she wasn’t at the paternal grandfather’s and not with her father
Yea something like that, somewhere in chapters 1-8
So he has 3 options
1- kill the king
Or
2- escape
Or
3- write a note to his daughter and kill himself to escape his hell. Also make sure he writes a note to blame the king so he can feel guilty as hell.
