Maple was kind of like that but it's way past its prime. Ragnarok, FlyFF, WoW, or Nostale would be a better comparison but again these games are from the old times and are either already in the grave or on life-support. There are a few mobile games that try to recapture the magic but most of them suffer from "auto gameplay" or are form over function :(

The fishing and the job classes are so FFXIV

The most similar game is actually ffxiv, it even have the boring ass fishing boat mode lol. The only thing the game doesn't have is the the enhancement system (more common in korean mmos)

Hi there I’ve recommended this before to someone who read “My guild mate next door” because this game is EXACTLY the one from “my guild mate next door” it’s called LATALE. It’s a Korean game made by the same company of Maple Story. It’s SO FUN!! it’s an older game but the gameplay is literally “my guild mate next door”’s game!! They have everything from fishing, leveling, cute monsters, bosses, emoticons, dancing, fashion, fighting, pvp, auction houses, party’s, marriage, bathhouses, class upgrades, mounts, pets, events and more!! They’re still updating the game more and more every month! I’ve played this game since I was 10! I’m now 22! So you will really enjoy it If you like “my guildmate next door” even the art style is almost exact to the game! I hope we can get more people playing it it’s so fun! Again it’s called LATALE!!
