People who have good parents sometimes can't comprehend that others might have shitty ones. They'll try to force reconciliation because "family is family". I'm glad it's not the case for them, ai got me nervous there for a second. I like that they're mature and able to communicate as adults should. This manga heals something in me I'm glad i read it.
