regarding 65, I liked how his train of thought was shown bcs in typical manga's the ML's would ask the FL's what they liked about them and they would give an answer which differs from the ML's action and so their romance blossoms bcs the fl sees him for who he is.
but here, he expected a diff answer but it's rly just mitsumi liking him bcs of his actions that he portrayed. and that's not to say that he was faking it thus invalidating her feelings. to be able to 'fake' it to that level, there's bound to be some truth to it.
well, I'm excited to see his growth tbh, it's slow but change doesn't come easy and it's the thought of wanting to change that gets it going. plus, he has someone to hold him 'accountable' and also by voicing out that he really wants to stop and to trust him. I feel that by him even voicing it out, it's already a step forward. sometimes thoughts are just thoughts but just saying it out changes the effect.
