I agree, and even judging is fine as long as ppl don’t get too crazy or awful with it. I personally like dark stories and rape, and I think I’ve only been personally attacked once for it online, but that person’s argument and attitude literally did nothing lmao. Especially cuz their reasoning for some stuff did not make sense Like, if u wanna say u don’t like rape and don’t understand why readers, or me, like it and side eye or smthn go ahead. But when someone starts personally attacking somebody, for me specifically saying I wanna see actual ppl get raped or think real rape is fine it definitely pisses me off, bc I am disgusted by real life incidents like that. The most common excuse you’ll see is “But the art is so pretty!” which is a complete nonsense. There are people who enjoys potn for both its dark agenda and art. Just because it is a dark story doesn’t mean the art has to be ugly no?

I just read this but I have never seen a review of POTN for being wholesome because the story was far from it. Although I have seen a lot of reviews of it being angsty and tear jerking (because it is). POTN is indeed a very great story with an amazing art. The plot is very deep and diversed if only you’re open minded about it.
But then again, just like food, it’s not for everyone. You prefer wholesome BLs - I get you. I totally get you because there are times I love me a soft BL. But there are times that I also like me a dark and complex BL that everyone might not digest.

Reading first few chapters or maybe the synopsis or description available right before you actually start reading will indicate it's violent nature, if you read those before you start reading will def give u an idea that if you're not into dark themed stories, then GTFO and stay away from it. I personally think people who start attacking people from reading stuffs like Jinx and POTN are bunch of pathetic piece of sh1ts who got a lot of hate in their soul
Why's everyone still glazing painter of the night wasn't the whole beginning to middle about Nakyeom being forced or raped while he paints for the other dude and the near end is the dude regretting and tragedy happens?
