Literally, I'm scared to answer this question and drop a huge spoiler I don't want anyone here to attack me in the comment section because I respect them.
But if you asked okay.
Spoiler alert
Lucas' character in the novel is very important why?
• He genuinely loves Paula (MC)
•He has an incurable illness ever since he was a child.
•In connection to his illness, he couldn't play/visit Vincent, Violet and Ethan so the three made a brilliant idea that they would wrote letters to Lucas in colored ink.
Violet ink for Violet
Green for Ethan (I think?)
and Golden ink for Vincent
•Lucas also love his brothers including the antagonist — James.
•Lucas got injured because he was ambush (I think) in the forest the night after he had a date with Paula.
•Due to his incurable illness, Lucas gave his world to Vincent which means he literally gave his eyes. Ó╭╮Ò
That's the reason why all of the novel readers loved Lucas' character so much.
There are your biggest spoilers and I'm sorry huhuhuhu
I really love the novel! Slow burn yet the author wrote the characters very well!
this is a 5 year time skip
Can't wait for the ML to recover from his blindness! Then, it's all about him finding who's "Paula" coz MC didn't tell her real name! (Instead, she used the name "Anna" ) She got traumatized with what happened at the mansion.
The MC will also be a maid again along with her sister but this time it's in a different estate. Then she will take care of the young master (Robert) son of ML's ex fiancé —Violet.
ML's best friend (Ethan) will kill the antagonist which is his brother (James). His other brother Lucas will leave you in pain for what he did! I cried reading this chapter. She really loves the MC ಥ╭╮ಥ
MC's sister is the one I really hate!!! Talk about garbage. Dunno why MC took care of her despite her trashy attitude.
That's all
