Is it weird that I cried at the end

No because like, I have a sensitive heart and stuff and seeing stuff like the end makes me cry, without the racism, yes this would be an extremely sweet and interesting story, at first I didn't even realize the racism since I skip reading names in most story or just skim through the names slightly and stuff
