but at least ask the kid what she wants. i know she can't have the last word because grown up problems and shit. but ask her what she wants. she will 100% feel abandoned if they just let her go with her dad.
also just because he has money now, does it mean he'll be a good dad? does he have a plan to take care of her? like...talk to the kid!!!! and actually make sure he has all his shit figured out. it's pretty selfish to just come back and decide to take her away. the most he could do is move back to be with her. get her to warm up to him with time, and then maybe things would work.
