Can anyone explain how the jp user decoded the garbled text

    Idk the specific encoding scheme that was used but Unicode has various encodings that could be used (UTF8, UTF16, for example) and all these characters boil down to a bunch of 0s and 1s. Depending on the scheme, these 0s and 1s get grouped differently (eg groups of 8, 16, 32, etc) and these set of numbers in a group could translate differently. Sorry if it’s still confusing! If I knew the scheme I’d probably be able to explain it better ( ; ; )

    That's interesting thank you so much! I was wondering how numbers were derived from the various kanjis used, but I'm guessing it's part of their coding language? Glad someone translated that confession though, made the scene all better. (Also viva genius author for coming up with this)
