OMG I can't believe how much this made sense to me!! Also thank you for giving me something to think about after finishing this wholesome story since I won't be able to get over it easily! There's absolutely no need for u to delete this comment it's just brilliant and I couldn't find anything opposing my own opinion!

i don’t know why the heck I keep thinking about this while reading (great story btw <3) but I need to just get it out of my system. I think it’s because I’ve been reading ABO dynamics fanfiction and this is like a stray curse but the omegaverse designations for this group just makes so much sense to me.
Okay so the Alphas are Dal Guk (+ his brother) and Jaewon. No doubt about it. In build, protectiveness, slight possessiveness etc.
Maehwa and Sehyung are both Betas. This is the correct designation for Maehwa do not argue with me. Listen okay I just think assuming he would be an omega because of his relationship with Jaewon is so basic. Those two are like the North Star for what AxB dynamics should be like, it’s fun it’s fresh it’s fierce who cares. It also makes sense for Maehwa and Sehyungs friendship and their background existence in high school hahah
Lastly Yeo Nan is an Omega because I cannot defend him. It’s the way he acts, his attachment yet impulsive behavior (also all the scenes where Nan was just in bed wrapped up in blankets. Author I KNOW YOU) His dynamic with Dal Guk makes sense, and how interwoven they are with each other.
+ others. Jaewon’s family/sisters are alphas/omegas. Maehwa comes from a family of betas except his grandma might be an alpha. Sehyungs family is a mix of all dynamics. Dalguks whole family is alphas, while yeo nan’s might also be alphas or maybe his mom and sis are omegas too. Most of their friends are betas idk I’ve indulged this enough in the past 24 hrs.
Okay so this is insane and I’m aware and very sorry! will definitely be deleting this later but I wanted to share in the meanwhile to see if this made sense to anyone else?
