I don't understand how is a beautiful thing to have many dating experiences. I'm 27 and I've been single my whole life and I want to have just one boyfriend in my life. It's such a beautiful thing that Yiyoung found director in his early twenties so he can have a beautiful and fulfilling life with him. Dating many assholes, getting disappointed by others meanwhile he has a man that to be honest has been so good to him. No I think he better skip all the bad part and be happy with director. Yiyoung had many one night stands with guys which asked him to pay more for the hotel room , another guy said that Yiyoung has a decent face but nothing else.

If you've only ever dated trash, the bare minimum would seem like princess treatment. That's why Yiyoung is so head over heels for Daehyung over the littlest things. I didn't say he should sleep around like he used to do, I'm saying it would be nice if he has a bit more experience in healthy dating before committing to man 15 years older than him. Like I said, I'm speaking not through yaoi logic, but realistically. And realistically, a relationship between a 38 year old and a 23 year old would be imbalanced.

But that's purely a hypothetical situation. "He should got in a healthy relationship with someone his age" it's not like he can just *do* that
He didn't sleep around bc he felt like it, he just couldn't find partners who wanted a serious relationship and not just sex.
The idea that you should throw away smth you have bc you should experience smth that you may not get bc it involves a third party appearing its just hopeful thinking
I get why you say it's inbalance but that also applies to relationship in which one its just more naive than the other regardless of age, yet they all can still work as long as they can communicate and work through their differences
For some reason the logical part of my brain started overpowering my yaoi-colored lenses while reading this and, well, I now agree that Yiyoung should gain more experience/date around a bit before committing to Daehyung for life. Like Yiyoung said, it's not about the age gap but the vast experience Daehyung has compared to him. Daehyung has already lived such a full life, Yiyoung has barely lived his. He is literally just starting. That imbalance is bound to cause problems in the future, as evidenced by Yiyoung's insecure moments and Daehyung's struggle to reassure him properly. I still do ship them by yaoi logic, but realistically, I'd want Yiyoung to enjoy his youth first.
