not trying to sound pretentious. im sure that the author tried to mean something and there were valid points to be made abt gender and gender roles. but reading the afterword and with the character yo, it just seems to that the author looks at women/fem adjacent ppl as sexual objects. (it is still not okay for anyone to force themselves onto another) even in the afterword, he doesnt see women as women he sees them as someone who can carry his sperm this seems like thinnly veiled misogyny to me. this shit was ass ngl
