dogs knot when they mate so it's not really surprising when they applied that here. and even if this will have mpreg in the side stories, it is NOT omegaverse. the person who will get pregnant needs to undergo a procedure that would allow them to have a child.
in their case, iirc, both of them tried the procedure (since ycy wants to get pregnant himself lol) but its only successful for the puppy (for now). if it's a same sex couple, they can do this way to have a child.
sorry if it's a bit messy but i just got a bit pissed when i saw some people telling others to drop it immediately bc of omegaverse when it's not
