Snakes have a hemipene, or two penises. And two testis. One connected to each penis separately. So in theory, you could say humans could have evolved 2 shafts, to go with the 2 testis, but the girth and length of the shift was increased and is sufficient enough for the task. Snakes girth is a lot thinner in comparison so they have 2. One may be used and the other not. They alternate. Gives a better chance of impregnation. One gun is out of commission, bring in the back up. They don't put them in at the same time like they show in bl's lol. It would more likely create a space for the sperm to overflow out, between the shafts ....well...this has been a fun discussion. My bad. I'm a nerd
