Lol, I had the same reaction.
LOL, I didn't exactly realize what he was doing but I did wonder how the heck did he manage to have his penis so unnaturaly high up his abdomen in some of the panels.
I am soo not surprised he wasn't actually doing it; I felt like the mangaka drew the scene too suspiciously "carefully" and just about the entirety of Sangwoo's dialogue and subtle body language conveyed to me that it wasn't actually happening.
I'm not gonna lie though, I laughed like a jackass when Bum realized Sangwoo was using a dildo (which I didn't even think about when I suspected they weren't really doing it), but I feel bad for Bum for not realizing and embarrassing himself like that.
