the author wrote it in kind of a non-consensual way
he was more forceful in the novel lol it wasn't this consensual from the get-go. when it starts the seme isn't in his right mind bc of pheromone shock. he basically forces the uke down and does what he wants and the uke ends up liking it and getting really into it. but it wasn't cute.

yeah it was disappointing af cause he'd been all about consent and waiting and it felt out of character like the author just threw it in there bc it's her taste. I'm glad it was done in this way!
yes it has been so respectful so far, so that def would not have been the right tone at all after he had constrained himself all this time before :')
