Well also it seems like the game was more advanced than the games we have today. Like maybe the characters had very advanced ai personalities which we have seen, even with some of the basic ai bots irl similar things have happened
I mean if you remember they did basically tell us he had no one irl to love (familial, platonic and romantic) so when he got into the game and became their king he grew attached to them all fast hence why it broke him to hear his duke say i hate you
amazing sex scene, so glad the misunderstanding is gone, but I keep remembering the fact that this guy quit a game because he was 'rejected' by a (then) fictional character
