I agree with you tbh. but i think it's more like the freshness of love in this story? since snail pond robber is centered around matured adults especially kang dojin who's learning to be mature throughout the series. i think snail pond robber is written for the youngsters in university to relate to, and merry marbling is written for the youngsters in schools to relate to! since schools are usually a place where kids are having fun throughout their day and fall into puppy love, such as this story.

No, your english is really good, don't worry, English isn't my first language either. The thing you said about puppy love is exactly what i don't really understand in this story. Personally , if i was this in love with someone, i feel like I'd be very clingy and physically affectionate, maybe that's why i feel like it feels off, bcuz I can't relate. But that's obviously bcuz the characters have a different personality from me, imo.
I love these cuties don't get me wrong, but there's something missing from it. There's something that's not in this story, that WAS in snail pond robber, maybe bcuz this one is less affectionate and more centered around humor?? Idk
