I believe it depicts an angel?
-> It's the one Shin & Gren hid behind after they finally escaped.
As for it's meaning, here's my interpretation :
That night they spent bundled together was probably the only night they ever spend feeling at ease. Shortly after, they were separated.
☆ For them, it represents the promise of a better future, but it also is the proof of their bond & their hope for a brighter life:")
What's more, I'm positive that angels became a figure for them to keep on going. It probably reminded them of that specific night, giving them the drive to carry on. I can see Gren gaining back hope thanks to it.
SPOILER WARNING!!!!!!!! that’s actually what I thought too! But in the newest chapter Jake hands shin a miniature of that statue so I just wondered what the meaning was behind that..? Maybe he wants to tell shin that he will always protect him and is always on his side.. but yeah thanks for your reply(▰˘◡˘▰)
It was shown on Ch.85 when Gren had his group meeting with the Dr. and the other addicts. The doctor praised Gren for his strong will to heal and his love to his 'brother' Shin by pointing out the little statue Gren made. She said Gren's hands are not trembling anymore and his condition is getting better and better. Here's a link to the English translation of that chapter. It's not a good translation but it does the job :))

Could someone please explain the meaning of the statue that every now and then appears? I’d love to hear different interpretations (≧∀≦)
